Updates See below for announcements of significant web site updates. April 29, 2010 I officially took office last week, having been sworn in at the annual Common Council organizational meeting. I've been appointed to serve on the Public Safety & Welfare Committee as well as the Ethics Board. On a related note, we are looking for a suitable volunteer to take my spot on the Plan Commission. I will happily continue to serve on that body until a replacement is appointed. I encourage any interested parties to sit in at a couple Plan Commission meetings to see if it would be a good match. March 20, 2010 The election is just over two weeks away! The primary campaign effort has been to actively update my Hometown Hawk blog to show my views on various issues that have come up in Verona. January 17, 2010 I am pleased to announce that I am running unopposed! Ken Harwood announced that he has taken a new job that will require him to move out of Verona before the completion of the next term, so he has chosen not to run for re-election. I look forward to serving as our next Alder! December 1, 2009 The official campaign web site has been significantly expanded and revised. I have added new pages, including my 17 year history of community service. November 22, 2009 I am proud to present my new blog! The blog contains commentaries on issues, news and events that affect fellow City of Verona residents. Check back often - there is always something happening around Verona that is worthy of attention. Jump to my Facebook page and use the Become a Supporter link to get blog update alerts in your Live Feed! November 10, 2009 I now have a Facebook page where I will post commentaries on current Verona events and issues, as well as the latest news from the campaign trail. Become a fan! November 5, 2009 I filed my official Declaration and Registration forms to begin my candidacy for the City of Verona's 4th District Alder seat in the April 6, 2010 election! I'll be on foot touring District 4 to get signatures on my nominating petition in December, in accordance with State of Wisconsin Statutes. |
