17 years of community service
My career of community service began during high school, when an interest in severe weather lead me to earn a Technician class Amateur Radio license (callsign N9VHT). I quickly got hooked on the public service aspects of ham radio and have loaded my calendar year after year with volunteer assignments at a wide range of community events. My dedication to community service has repeatedly had me on the road several hours prior to sunrise, and back at home several hours after sunset. I've also volunteered my time for several charitable organizations outside the realm of Amateur Radio.
Over the years, I have served the below organizations. I continue to serve several of these organizations on an annual basis or more frequently.
